Our Mission: First Congregational Church is a Christ-centered community of faith welcoming all God's children regardless of race, gender, age, sexual identity, physical or emotional ability and vows to stand with all in the pursuit of justice.

First Congregational Church is an Open & Affirming, multi-racial, multi-cultural, accessible to all congregation of the United Church of Christ.  We are committed to doing ministry in the city of Lorain and welcome all to worship here and participate in the ministry, mission, and outreach.  We acknowledge every creature as God's own creation and celebrate the diversity of that creation. Our worship style is contemporary, but blended with our nearly 150-year tradition as a community of faith.
